(below) The Apartment
Made from weathered barn wood that we purchased, disassembled, and reclaimed. This
one reminds us of the highrise buildings you find in cities, and so named it "the apartment". It is tall
and narrow, and this particular one has an entrance hole in the front that is a natural knot hole, not a drilled hole like
most, which makes it unique. No two will be alike, even if the same model, just due to the natural look and wearing
to each piece of barn wood. The edges on this one have a very worn, split, look. You can see front/back/sides in the pics.
Perch rod on front is made from oak.

(below) The Outhouse
Made from weathered
barn wood that we purchased, disassembled, and reclaimed. This one is designed to remind us of the old time outhouses
from years gone by. This particular one has an entrance hole in the front that is a natural knot hole, not a drilled hole
like most, which makes it unique. There aren't a lot of pieces found like this so most will have the holes drilled. No
two will be alike, even if the same model, just due to the natural look and wearing to each piece of barn wood. You can see
front/back/sides in the pics.

(below) Barn Wood Bookends These bookends are made from vintage barn wood for that rustic look. This wood
came from a barn that had been standing for approx 100 years. Counting annual growth rings on beams shows that many of the
trees used were ranging in age from sapplings to 100 year old trees at the time Christopher Columbus came to America in 1492...
this would make the wood approx 600 years old. Quite amazing when you give it some thought. If this wood could talk and tell
of all it has seen in the last 600 years or so, it would be an exciting and interesting story for sure. You can add some of
the history of America to your home or office with a pair of bookends made from this amazing wood. A genuine antler has been added to each one for decoration and would allow it to fit in with the theme of
a den, man cave, or hunting lodge as well.
